Toowoomba International Multicultural Society - TIMS

TIMS welcomes members from all backgrounds. They organise the annual Toowoomba Languages and Cultures Festival amongst many other activities such as cooking classes, Bollywood dancing, Harmony Day, Chinese New Year etc.

The Queensland Program of Assistance to Survivors of Torture and Trauma (QPASTT)

Specialises in providing a range of services to people who have a refugee or asylum seeker background and have experienced torture or war related trauma (either in their country or whilst travelling to Australia)

Multicultural Development Agency (MDA)

Assists refugees in their first 12 months of settlement in Australia as referred by the Department of Immigration and Border Protection. Complex case referrals may be made to MDA for refugees who have been in Australia longer than 12 months as well as migrants not on refugee visa's.
