Services offered include:
  • Crisis counselling and support
  • Safety planning
  • Counselling for ongoing effects of domestic violence
  • Assistance with domestic violence order applications
  • Assistance at court if required
  • Community training and education around healthy relationships for both men and women (service is planning on a move in the near future)
  • Stopping Violence Program for Men (Self Referral or Court Referral)

    A state wide domestic and family violence telephone service offering professional counselling and information regarding separation, child support, men's health, family law and suicide. Also offers a Pets in Crisis Program which sees animals abused during domestic violence situations placed in temporary foster homes, and crisis accommodation (gateway to refugees).     Domestic Violence Action Centre (DVAC)

    An intiative aimed at supporting children and women who have been subject to Domestic Violence through information and advice provision, as well as active support such as support at court, counselling, education and and crisis response.

    Provides community education and awareness training, peer networking and a helpline for those witnessing or experiencing elder abuse
